Description

The N2XSY-YJV cable is meticulously constructed to ensure optimal performance and safety.

  • Conductor: At its core, you’ll find a high-quality copper conductor. It is class 2 and circular compacted for excellent electrical conductivity.
  • Conductor Screen: A non-metallic, semi-conducting compound layers the conductor, ensuring a smooth electrical field and reducing partial discharges.
  • Insulation: The insulation layer uses Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLPE). This material provides superior dielectric properties and high insulation resistance, critical for medium voltage applications.
  • Insulation Screen: Another non-metallic, semi-conducting compound covers the XLPE insulation, further enhancing electrical stability.
  • Metallic Screen: A copper tape forms the metallic screen. This component offers effective shielding and fault current carrying capability.
  • Outer Sheath: The cable is protected by a Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) outer sheath. This PVC layer provides good resistance to grease, oil, and abrasion, extending the cable’s lifespan in various environments.
