ICEA

ICEA (Insulated Cable Engineers Association) refers to North American technical standards developed by industry experts for power, control, and telecom cables. These standards are often adopted as ANSI/ICEA (American National Standards Institute) specifications, ensuring nationwide compliance.  

Standards We Followed  

  • ANSI/ICEA S121733 – Standard for 600 Volt Control Cables: Specifies requirements for thermoset-insulated control cables used in industrial power systems.  
  • ICEA S70547 – Standard for Telecommunications Wire and Cable: Covers copper/fiber optic cables for telecom networks, including performance and environmental resilience.  
  • ICEA S76474 – Standard for Aerial Service Wire: Defines requirements for insulated aerial wires (≤600V) used in service drops to buildings.
