KS

Korean Standards (KS) are Korea’s national standards based on the Industrial Standardization Act, administered by the Korea Agency for Technology and Standards (KATS). The KS standards consist of 21 divisions from basic sector (A) to information sector (X), with Category C specifically covering Electrical and Electronic Engineering standards.

KS Standards Classification System

• Basic Standards (A): General technology, radiation management
• Mechanical Standards (B): Mechanical engineering
• Electrical & Electronic Standards (C): Electrical and electronic engineering
• Metal Standards (D): Metal materials
• Other Categories: Chemical, textile, construction, etc.
