The NA2XSBY – YJLV62 (AL/XLPE/CTS/STA-NM/PVC) medium voltage cable from ZD Cable delivers excellent performance and long-lasting durability. Its core features a compacted circular aluminum conductor. This ensures reliable power transmission. We use Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLPE) for insulation. XLPE offers superior electrical properties and high insulation resistance.
To enhance safety and performance, the cable has several protective layers. These include semi-conducting screens and a copper tape metallic screen (CTS). The copper tape screen helps ensure a uniform electric field and provides earth fault protection. An inner PVC sheath further protects the cable’s core.
For mechanical strength, we use non-magnetic steel tape armor (STA-NM). This armor safeguards the cable against physical damage during and after installation.
