ABC Cable (3+1 Core)

ZD CABLE’s 3+1 Core ABC Cable is primarily used for overhead power lines. It is a great choice for street lighting, outdoor lighting, and providing temporary power for construction sites. ABC cable is designed to operate safely at a voltage of 0.6/1kV and can handle conductor temperatures up to 90°C.

Features:

Features 3 phase wires for power and 1 neutral wire in a single bundle.
Use All Aluminum Alloy (AAAC) for the neutral wire to provide extra strength for hanging overhead.
Combines Aluminum (AAC) for the main power phases with Aluminum Alloy (AAAC) for the neutral.

ZD CABLE provides a durable Aerial Bounded Cable (ABC) designed for overhead power networks. ABC cable uses a “3+1” core design, making it suitable for standard three-phase power distribution.

3 Phase Conductors: Made of stranded, circular compacted aluminum (AAC).
1 Neutral Conductor: Made of circular compacted aluminum alloy (AAAC). The aluminum alloy wire is stronger than the phase wires, helping to support the weight of the cable when it is strung between poles.

All 4 cores are covered with black Cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation. The insulation is built to resist damage from harsh weather and sunlight (UV rays).
